Rachel Rebibo was born and raised in the Washington DC area, picking up her first camera at 10 years old. She then attended the School of Visual Arts in New York, before moving to Paris. She loves working on location and utilizing the beauty of natural light, but can also be found shooting in the studio with a dedicated playlist to set the mood. Although she no longer shoots film professionally, as the founder and editor-in-chief of I Still Shoot Film, Rachel is an enthusiastic advocate of keeping film photography alive for younger generations.
She is passionate about animals and wildlife conservation, and travels to South Africa frequently to work with conservationists and safari lodges. She also serves as a member on the advisory committee to nonprofit organization Empowers Africa.
Rachel is primarily based between Paris and New York, and also shoots internationally.
